Danica Patrick wins the race nationally.Yes, it’s probably not very brave prediction, but Patrick would have the equipment to do so and week to week consistency only in stock cars would be the best for his improvement of NASCAR. It is not possible in the first 10 races and may be a standalone with no race Cup driver, but he’s going to win. – Nick Bromberg
This will be the final year Joey Logano of Joe Gibbs Racing in the Sprint Cup Series.Loss of crew chief Greg Zipadelli as combined with a strong focus to right ship for Denny Hamlin would leave Logano dust, and sponsors looking for elsewhere in 2013. Don’t be surprised if he stayed with Gibbs, though, in the role of the Nationwide Series full-time for 2013. -Geoffrey Miller
