Square backs Jim McKelvey, founder of LinkedIn to athlete LockerDome

LockerDome, a sports social community, has raised $ 750,000 in funding. Jim McKelvey, founder of Square invested in startup and joined the Board of Directors of LockerDome’s.

LockerDome is a social networking site for sports and aims to help athletes who make the sport persona and profiles. LockerDome working with youth sports programs across the u.s. to start a private team and the League network and serves as a private social network where athletes, coaches, and their parents can create a profile, upload media and getting national exposure.

LockerDome allows You to join the sports network to your team currently play in and has played for in the past. You can also follow professional athletes who are part of the network’s celebrity LockerDome. LockerDome has grown to more than 400% over the past 6 months and more than 400 amateur sports teams and the League have launched their own network LockerDome.
