Editor’s Note to someone, Athlete of the Year

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Apple Valley Patch first time choose the person of the year and student-athlete of the year.

Be sure to check out our story about athlete of the year, Sue Spain. Prior to these stories, I know very little about each one, but when I read the story I am amazed at how worthy they are title below-5 morning exercises for high schooler recently discovered? Complete the tasks that You the same as a student volunteer to work with, so that you are ready to answer all their questions the next day? I don’t think I could have driven, in both cases. Hannah and Sue deserve much respect and admiration.

I’ll be the first to admit, however, the nomination and voting process this time around is not bug-free, which makes the nailing down the final result is a little more involved than anticipated.

Review of voice and web site traffic statistics for each poll-voting done during and after the facts indicate that some of the popular practice of casting votes. Depending on the specific computer settings, people were able to vote more than once, or many, many times-in poll created using polling our Patch.

But it’s not so much the fault of those who want a particular person to win since this was my own fault, because of lack of consideration of the limitations of our voting feature. To that end, I’m sorry, and I hope to improve the process of all the polls that are similar or contests in the future.
